8 days for know the charming history of these particular part of Italy.
The tour will touch the most important and famous castles like Issogne, 15th century, Verres, 14th century, Fenis, 14th century, the roman aqueduct of 300 B.C.
St. Pierre castle where is the Museum of Natural Science.
Day in Geneva, to see the Wall of Reforme, the Arsenal and the United Nation area. In the Gressoney Valley the ruins of Via Consolare built by Romans; in Donnas the Roman Bridge of 1st century B.C. and the Savoia Castle in Gressoney St. Jean .
And finally in Aosta: the Arch of St. August, the Collegiata of St. Orso, Porta Pretoria and Forense Cryptoporticus.

PROGRAM

1° Day
Arrival in Aosta.
Meet with local assistant and check-in to hotel.
 Dinner and overnight stay.

2° Day
 Breakfast.
 Meet with guide and tour Issogne Castle: a completely furnished 15th century stately residence decorated with frescoes.
Next is a tour of Verres Castle, a medieval fortress from the XIV century located a top a rocky peak that offers perfectly preserved architecture that is both fascinating and magical. iunch.
In the afternoon is a tour of Fenis Castie, a majestic XIV century construction with very important era frescoes.
After travel back to Aosta, have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.
 
 3° Day
Breakfast.
Entire day dedicated to the "Giant of the Alps". Mont Blanc.
A trip to Chamonix that includes an excursion to Montenvers on a tiny mountain train with a tour of the ice grotto.
Lunch in Chamonix and then back to Courmayeur in the afternoon to visit this popular winter sport re- sort of international fame.
Back to Aosta for dinner and overnighf stay.
 
4° Day
Breakfast. Meet with guide and de- part for Cogne. Stop off to see the Bridge of the Roman Aqueduct Pon- del from 300 B.C. Continue on to Co- gne and have lunch. In the afternoon is a tour of the town, its church and then a visit to where the local lace pillows are made. An optional tour of the Castle of St. Pierre where the Museum of Natural Science of Aosta is located. Dinner and overnight stay in Aosta.

5° Day
Breakfast.
Meet with guide and de- part for Geneva via the Mont Blanc tunnel.
A walking tour of the elegant old town (Cathedral of St. Peter, Wall of Reform, Arsenal, lle Rousseau...).
 Lunch open.
In the afternoon is a tour of the international area of the U.N. and free time for any shopping. Back to Aosta for dinner and over- night stay.

 6° Day
After breakfast meet with tour guide and depart for Gressoney I/alley.
Along the way the XIX century for of Bard can be seen along with the ruins of Via Consolare, a 221 meter long road cut out of rock and built by a Roman Consul, in Donnas: and the 1st century b.c. Roman Bridge in Pont St. Martin, directly joining the bottom of Mont Rosa.
Stop over at Issime for a tour of the Parochial church which also houses a small museum.
In the afternoon is a tour of the Savoy Castle at Gressoney St. Jean.
Arrival in Aosta for dinner and over- night stay.
 
7° Day
 Breakfast in hotel.
Morning dedica- ted to visiting Aosta.
The tour of the city uvill take place in the old town and allows for a visit of the monu- ments from Roman and medieval times (The Arch of St. Augustus, The Collegiata of Sant'Orso church, a XII cent. Kiosk, Architectural excavations of the paleo-christian cemeterial church. Porta Pretoria, Forense Cryptoporticus and Cathedral).
 Lu ch – open.
Afernoon open for shopping or group tours.
Dinner and overnight stay in hotel.
 
8° Day
Breakfast.
End of trip.
